By getting local television and radio coverage of the event, community awareness was created of the project.  Each year the project grew where we were able to hand it over to the volunteers that spent endless hours making this a special day for those living through a tragic time in their life.  We helped the group set up their foundation, and now they continue their efforts to give cancer survivors a sense of well-being and get back on their feet in their community to love life.
